Events in December:
December 12th, 11 am- 2 pm: Parent Date Day! This is a great opportunity to get some holiday errands completed, or just enjoy a quiet lunch date before the Holiday season really goes into full swing! The Winner School has a charity fundraiser each month where children ages 2-12 can come to The Winner School and enjoy age appropriate group activities. Lunch will be served. There is a minimum donation of $25. Anyone is invited to utilize this service, including children who do not regularly attend The Winner School. In honor of the cherished Holiday memories that we all have, all proceeds, including volunteer Winner School employees hourly wages, will be donated to Alzheimer's.  All donations are tax detectable. Sign up is available at the front desk. You may sign up in person or over the phone.

December 16th, 17th, 18th: Christmas Class parties! Check you calendars for class specific dates. We will have fun dance games and activities. Please still dress for dance, as some of activities will involve dancing.

December 18th: If you have not already paid the $10 for your Progression recital hair bow, please do so by the 18th.

December 21st- January 3rd: Winter Recess, No dance class. Enjoy your break! Regular classes resume January 4th.

GP Pictures:

GP Pictures are this week! Specific dates for each class are on the November calendars. There will be no regular class on the day of pictures. Dancers will be excused immediately after individual and group pictures are taken. Dancers will wear their class uniform. Intro and RZDZ 4 dancers will wear pink ballet tights, which can be purchased in The Winner School Store, with their class leotard. Please bring all their shoes. There is no set hair do for Fall pictures, you may do their hair however you would like. Make-up is optional, and at your discretion.
Pictures must be ordered, and paid for, prior to individual pictures being taken. Please bring your child regardless of your intent to purchase pictures, we want the entire class to be represented in the group photo. Order form sheets were sent attached with the November calendars, and extras will be available at the time of photos being taken.

Halloween Parties are coming up...
We are excited to have our Halloween dance class parties! Dancers can wear their Halloween costumes to class. We will have Halloween activities, and fun dance games during our class.

Intro and RZDZ Parent Meeting

Mark your calendars!  It will be held on Wednesday, October 7^th at 6:30 pm, at The Winner School. This is an important meeting to attend as it will be full of important information and dates, for the upcoming dance year. The meeting will last slightly longer for parents of RZDZ 5K, 5-7 and 7-10 dancers, as we will discuss competition information. Parents of the 3 and 4 year olds will be excused, for this portion, of the meeting.

Countdown to The Studio Showcase
We are in our FINAL week prior to our Studio Showcase! We are so excited for our dancers to perform.

All Intro (pink polka dot uniform)  and RZDZ 4 (turquoise polka dot uniform) dancers will have their hair in a princess bun. EXCEPT for the T/TH RZDZ 4 class that has a cowboy hat with their costume, they will have their hair in two low ponytails.

All RZDZ 5K, RZDZ 5-7, and RZDZ 7-10 dancers will have their hair in a low ponytail. Parted on the right side, swept to the left, no bangs, curled and sprayed.

Parents please check that you have all pieces of your dancer's costume.

T/TH 11:15 am Intros: "By the Sea" White dress, white "bloomers", sailor collar, tan tap shoes

T/TH 12:30 pm Intros: "Secret Agent" Black leotard dress, pink jacket, pink gloves, headband, tan tights, ballet shoes

M/W RZDZ 5K 2:00 pm: "ABC" School girl costume, head band, white socks, silver high tops

T/TH RZDZ 5K 4:15 pm: "Hawaiian Rollercoaster" Hawaii print tunic, pink shorts, anklet. (I have most of the hair pieces, but a couple were taken with dancers at Thunderstruck. Please contact me if you have one.)

T/TH RZDZ 5-7 4:15 pm: "Diamond's" Pink costume, blacks head band, tan tights, tan jazz shoes

W/F RZDZ 7-10: "Song of the Heart" Pink and silver costume, headband, tan jazz shoes

ALL RZDZ 5K, 5-7 and 7-10 dancers also have a Tap costume they need to bring, their black class leotard, tan fishnet tights, red gloves, tan tap shoes. I will give them their hat at the performance.
Please also do an at home competition bag check. Your dancer should bring their competition bag with them to the Studio Showcase.

Flowers and performance DVD's are available for preorder through The Winner School Store until Thursday.

Tap Production Rehearsal

We will have a final group rehearsal for our RZDZ Tap Production dance on May 2nd, 11:00 am- 12:30 pm. ALL RZDZ 5K, RZDZ 5-7, and RZDZ 7-10 classes are involved with this Tap Production. We need all of our dancers there. This is a very important rehearsal.
