Happy New Year! I hope everyone has enjoyed the Holiday Break! Calendars for January will be sent out the first week back in class. Here is a highlight of things to know for January:

CLASS ATTIRE:

• Please check your dancer's shoes. Some of our little dancers are complaining of shoes that are too tight.
• Please send your Dancers with their hair pulled back and out of their face, or send some hair bands with them. This is especially important for our RZDZ 5K, 5-7 & 7-10 classes.

FEES DUE IN THE WINNER SCHOOL STORE:

• The $10 fee for the Progression Night hair bow is due in The Winner School Store at your earliest convenience. (it was due December 18th)
• The $50 costume deposit is due by January 15th in The Winner School Store. This is for the Spring Showcase dance recital in May.

PROGRESSION NIGHT REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE TIMES:

Dress rehearsal will take place on Saturday, January 31st in The Winner School Gym. Each class group will be given a half hour to 45 minutes blocks for practicing their combinations in The Winner School Gym. Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your Dancer's class' allotted time. Have Dancers in their class uniform and bring ballet shoes AND tap shoes. We are trying to take up as little time of your Saturday morning as possible. We have broken up the rehearsals by classes to be as efficient as we can be.

• ALL Intro classes from 11:30 am- 12:00 pm
• ALL RZDZ 4 year old classes from 12:00 pm- 12:30 pm
• RZDZ 5K M/W class & RZDZ 5K T/TH class (Ms. Kira & Ms. Kellie's class)12:30 pm- 1:15 pm
• RZDZ T/TH 5-7 (Ms.Tracy & Ms. Emily's class) 1:15 pm- 2:00 pm
• RZDZ 7-10 from 1:15 pm- 2:00 pm

The Progression Night Recital will take place on two sessions on Saturday, February 7th in the Winner School Gym. These sessions are based on the DAYS your Dancer attends class. Dancers will wear their class uniform for the Progression Night Recital as well. They need their ballet shoes AND tap shoes.

Dancers who attend class on Monday & Wednesday, Wednesday Only, Wednesday & Friday:


Performance time: 5:00 pm, call time 4:40 pm


Dancers who attend class on Tuesday & Thursday:

Performance time: 6:30 pm, call time 6:10 pm

GP Pictures--
Individual and Class pictures will be during class time. There will NOT be regular dance. Dancers will be dismissed after pictures are taken. All pictures must be ordered/paid for before class in order for individual pictures to be taken. Send your child regardless of your intent to purchase pictures. We want all of the class to be in the group photo. Dancers wear class outfit, no tights, ballet shoes, hair at your discretion, make-up is optional.

Tuesday/Thursday Intro classes will have pictures taken on Tuesday, November 11th.

Wednesday only Intro class will have pictures taken on Wednesday, November 12th.

Monday/Wednesday RZDZ 4 classes will have pictures taken on Wednesday, November 12th

Tuesday/Thursday RZDZ 4 class will have pictures taken on Tuesday, November 11th.

Monday/Wednesday RZDZ 5K class will have pictures taken on Wednesday, November 12th.

Tuesday/Thursday RZDZ 5K class will have pictures taken on Thursday, November 13th.

Tuesday/Thursday RZDZ 5-7 class will have pictures taken on Thursday, November 13th.

Wednesday/Friday RZDZ 7-10 class will have pictures taken on Wednesday, November 12th.

We have enjoyed getting back into the routine with our first two weeks back at dance.
We are implementing our "Garden of Good Behavior" reward system.

The instructors are enjoying seeing our lovely returning students, and getting to know our new students. We adore your children. It is a privilege to give them a solid foundation in dance.

If you missed the parent meeting, please feel free to ask for a copy of the upcoming events handout. RzDz 5K, RzDz 5-7 and RzDz 7-10 classes will want a copy of the Bag Check list as well.

There are a couple of tips we'd like to share for a successful dance experience:
Please label ALL dancewear and dance shoes. With so many little ones, shoes sometimes get placed in the wrong bag or left behind. We want go protect your investment and make sure that all of your dancer's belongings get back to them.
If you drop your dancer off before dance, please take them to the restroom. Dancers who come from Dayschool are taken to the restroom before they are brought to the dance room to change. Restroom breaks during dance are a big distraction and take away from instruction time.

Parents of RzDz 5K, RzDz 5-7 & RzDz 7-10 classes:
Please remind your children to have a healthy snack before dance. They have already had a long day at school and may need something to keep their energy up for class. String cheese & crackers, apples & peanut butter, veggies & dip are all great snacks that will help them focus and keep their bodies going for dance. The Winner School Snack Bar has snacks available as well.

This is a valuable meeting with information that will help your dancer have a happy and successful year. We will discuss what you and your dancer can expect this upcoming year.

Parents with dancers in the Razzle Dazzle 5K, Razzle Dazzle 5-7 & Razzle Dazzle 7-10 classes can anticipate staying a little longer as we discuss information pertaining to the competition that those classes are involved in.

We have a wonderful team to teach each class and are excited to begin another successful dance season!
