**Tap, Ballet, and Jazz will be incorporated throughout the summer. Please send your dancer in a leotard and tights with ballet and tap shoes every week.

Princess Crowns and Gowns: Please send your dancer in their favorite princess crown and gown on this day. We will be learning some royally impressive moves!

Fairies and Fruity Smoothies: Please send your dancer in their fairy wings or tu-tu for a whimsical class ending with a fruity smoothie!

Parents Day: The last day of class, parents are invited to attend class and watch what we have been working on all summer!

Razzle Dazzle 5K, 5-7, Team RzDz Registration 2013-2014

In house registration for all dancers, for the 2013-2014 dance season will be: February 19-22nd.

However, our all our dancers 6 and up will be eligible to AUDITION for either Team Razzle Dazzle or Dazzles 1 & 2. This is a great opportunity to leap into our competition dance program! Placement auditions will held the week of May 20th. Dancers will have Audition Prep Classes May 14,15,&16 - so they will be prepared and know what to expect.

If you are unsure whether your dancer is ready to advance to a competitive team, please discuss it with their teacher before or after classes.

For dancers not wanting to increase their level of commitment, Razzle Dazzle 5-7 will be their placement for 2013-2014. Please register, during registration week, for this class- it fills very quickly!


Team Razzle Dazzle: T/TH 5:30-7:30
• A beginning/intermediate group. Dancers are ages 6-10. You must AUDITION for placement in this group. Enrollment into this group closes Oct. 1st
• Classes are in TAP, BALLET, & JAZZ
• Class uniform is required along with travel jacket.
• Classes are required, you may make up absences by attending another class.
• Dancers perform at Progression Night in December.
• Dancers will purchase up to 2 costumes not exceeding $85.00/each.
• Dancers will compete at 2 dance competitions in the spring.
• Dancers will perform at the Studio Recital in May.


Dazzles 1 & 2: M/W 4:15-6:30
• A beginning/intermediate group. Dancers are ages 6-10. You must AUDITION for placement in this group. Enrollment into this group closes Sept. 1st

• Classes are in TAP, BALLET, & JAZZ
• Class uniform is required along with Winner School travel gear.

• Classes are required, you MUST make up absences by attending another class.
• Choreography rehearsals are MANDETORY, and may be held on Saturdays.

• DANCE ATTACK dance convention is required two times a year.

• Dancers perform at Progression Night in December.

• Dancer will perform at up to 2 other venues during the dance year.
• Dancers will purchase up to 2 costumes not exceeding $100.00/each.
• Dancers will compete at 2 dance competitions in the spring, one may require travel outside the Salt Lake Valley.

• Dancers will perform at the Studio Recital in May.

Miss Vicki Says Good-Bye

We are so sad to say good-bye to Vicki Hoban, our Razzle Dazzle evening teacher.

Miss Vicki has moved to Colorado with her husband Travis and daughter Maylee. Travis received a fabulous job offer in a resort town outside of Denver, which they accepted at the end of December.

Vicki was so sad to leave her beautiful dancers, but excited to start a new adventure with her family!

We will miss her and wish her the best!!!!

A Few Reminders for Progression Night

*Hair and make-up for Intro 3s, Razzle Dazzle 4s, Razzle Dazzle 5K & 5-7 Yrs. dancers is at your discretion. Hair bows will be passed out at call time to all dancers. Please have at least sides pulled up so we have something to attach the bow to.


*Class uniforms are to be worn by all Intro, Razzle Dazzle, and TEAM Razzle Dazzle dancers. Intro 3s and Razzle Dazzle 5K & 5-7s should wear pink ballet tights.
**Dancers should arrive 20 minutes before their show begins. All dancers should have their tap and ballet shoes labeled with their name. When you arrive, please take your dancer to the restroom and then check them in, with their teacher, in RM 4.

***The performance will last approximately 1 hour with light refreshments to follow.

Saturday Rehearsal

Progression Night Rehearsal for Intros, Razzle Dazzles, TEAM, and Dazzles will be as follows:

Monday/Wednesday Classes: 11:00-12:00 in the GYM

Tuesday/Thursday Classes: 12:00-1:00 in the GYM

Dazzles 1 : 11-1:00PM in RM 2

Dazzles 2 : 11-1:00PM in RM 1

*The snack bar will be open during rehearsals, please take advantage. Both Dazzle classes will be given a 15 minute break.

**The WS Store will be open and taking payments for hair bows, costume deposits for all Intro and Razzle Dazzle dancers, as well as final costume payments for Dazzles.

***TEAM RzDz and Dazzle Parents: Ms Emily would like to meet with you for 15 minutes following the rehearsal, in Rm 1. She will be giving information on hair, make-up, and costumes for Progression Night.

Make-Up for Team Razzle Dazzle

Team Razzle Dazzle should match these colors as close as possible. You are not required to purchase the make-up kit in the store, but it is available in a kit or by individual piece of make-up.

Progression Night Dress Rehearsal

Saturday, January 12th is Dress Rehearsal for Progression Night. It is a mandatory rehearsal, please make every effort to be there.

The snack bar will be open on the 12th, please take advantage. Parents are welcome to wait for their dancers, and enjoy some food and coffee, but the rehearsal is closed and you will not be able to watch.

The Store will also be open for your convenience. They will be accepting payments for hair bows as well as costume deposits. If your dancer's shoes are getting too tight, this is a great time to size them for a new pair. Many of our little dancers have been complaining about tap shoes. Please make sure your dancer's tap shoes fit!
