Spring is Here!!

...and we have a lot of things coming up in April!

Costumes have been sent home. If you have not received yours, please check with the Winner School store. One pair of tights was included with the cost of every costume. Picture day should be the only time these tights are worn before the Studio Concert. Please do not send your dancer to regular classes wearing them.

Spring Break for all Introduction to Dance and Razzle Dazzle 4 classes will follow the preschool Spring Break.

GP Pictures will be here this month to photograph our dancers in their costumes. Order forms went home with calendars. These forms may be turned in prior to picture day. Please turn them in to the front desk and make checks payable to GP Pictures. We would like hair pulled up on picture day, and make-up is at your discretion.

Razzle Dazzle 5K and 6 & Up Classes will be competing at DANCE AMERICA on April 28th. We do not receive performance times until the week before. We will send out the information as soon as we get it, but please clear your schedule for this day. Many of our dancers will be performing for the first time on this day and we want it to be a positive experience! Miss Amy will be sending home a list for bag check, be certain that you have every item on the list. Bag check will be April 25th during regular classes!

We appreciate all your support. We know our parents are the best and thank you for having your kids with us at the Winner School! We absolutely LOVE them!!!!!

...and welcome back!!!!

We had a great first week back! Calendars will go out next week for January. There will be no regular classes on Monday, January 16 in observation of Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday. Otherwise, classes will be regular all month.

We will start to work hard on choreography this month! Please ask your dancer to show you what they have been working on in class. It is important for their weekly progress to review at home!!

We are looking forward to 2012!

Progression Night

Progression Night is already here!!! Performances will be Wednesday and Thursday Night- depending on your regular class days. Hair bows should have already been paid for, but you still have time! They must be paid for by Wednesday night and will be handed out to the dancers at their performance call time: 6:30pm both nights. All dancers should have their hair pulled all the way up, in any way you choose. Below is an example of what the bows look like. They are huge, sparkly, and fabulous! They are attached to an alligator clip, and are very easy to place in already done hair. Make-up for Progression Night is at your discretion. Please be sure your dancers arrive with all shoes in their bag and in their dance uniform with clean, pink ballet tights! We have had so much fun preparing and cannot wait to show our stuff!!!!

Progression Night!!!

Progression Night Rehearsal is Saturday, the 10th of December!
Dancers performing on Wednesday Night will practice from 9-10:30am.
Dancers performing on Thursday Night will practice from 10:30-noon.
Razzle Dazzle 6 & Up will practice from 10:30-noon.

This practice is important to help the children understand the flow of the show. Please make every effort to attend and drop/pick-up your dancers on time.
